Our ethos is simple: we source the best possible drinks from the best local producers, be it Twisted Nose Gin from Winchester or HBT, our house ale, which is made less than 100 metres from the pub.

We will always source our ales from as close as possible and our lagers will always be British. There have to be exceptions - the finest single malt whisky has to be from Scotland and we have a few varieties for you to try, along with our impressive Gin selection - you are sure to find an old friend or maybe try something new.

The wine list is Patrick’s special project and a chance for you to try something a little different. We provide many wines by the glass and carafe because we think that they are all fantastic examples and very good value and the rest of our list is made up of some very special wines indeed.

Our Private Dining Room can accommodate parties of up to 25 (seated), so if you’re planning a birthday party, dinner party, tea party please give us a call on 01264 736277 to discuss options. We can offer a range of options to suit most budgets from a standing buffet for up to 40 or a full celebration banquet.

The room can also be used for business meetings and comes complete with its own projector and screen. With breakfast, tea and coffee being served from 8am we can accommodate breakfast meetings, lunch meetings or indeed all day meetings - please contact us to discuss your requirements.
